Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is temporary employment that is an integral part of an established curriculum. Students should initiate the CPT process with International Student & Scholar Services.
Use the CPT Application and Academic/Co-op Participation form (PDF) to apply for CPT authorization through Co-op. Special instructions for Co-op certification are found on page 4 of the CPT form and the documents to be completed for Co-op certification are found on pages 7 and 8 of the CPT form. Your employer must provide an offer letter containing all information found on page 9 of the CPT form.
