Students may apply to the UA Crimson Co-op Program beginning in freshman year. Any UA student currently enrolled in 12 or more degree seeking hours may apply.

*Prior to beginning work Freshmen must have completed two academic semesters on campus with a minimum of 24 hours and a 2.5 UA GPA. Students with UA hours must meet a 2.5 UA GPA to apply.

Transfer students may apply in their first semester on campus using their previous institution’s overall GPA and report to work after completion of one academic term with a UA GPA of 2.5 or higher (verification at end of first term of academic classes).

All students must meet qualifications set by employers including GPA and major.

Co-op Application

To prepare to submit your application:

  • Utilize the free AI service, Vmock to enhance or create your resume. Vmock is an AI platform to assist in resume reviews and/or creation of a new resume.  Applicants are encouraged to use this service to enhance the professionalism of their resume.  *Login with your MyBama credentials.
  • Save (PDF) an unofficial copy of your transcript from myBama.
  • Save (PDF) your most recent resume.

Application Deadline Day

The Co-op program has an application deadline day as a cutoff to participate in Fall or Spring Co-op Interview Day. Students may apply for Co-op at any time, but the application deadline cutoff for Interview Day is strict and exceptions are not made. Please check back in August for deadline updates!

Fall 2026 Co-op Interview Day will be on October 7, 2026.
